The Best Vegetable Dip

This is the best vegetable dip. My mom used to make a similar dip when we were kids. Her recipe was the inspiration for this recipe. We eat a lot of raw veggies and in our house, with dip of course. In fact, my kids prefer raw veggies over cooked veggies. I kind of do too.

I really love Hy-vee’s ranch dip. The one that comes in a square container. You will find it in the produce section of Hy-vee. Well, I recently decided that it was a little insane to spend $6.99 on a fifteen ounce tub. I usually would buy two at a time because we go through it so quickly. I realized that I could make my own vegetable dip for so much cheaper. Plus, then I know exactly what ingredients go into the dip, and I can pronounce all of them. I don’t really know what potassium sorbate or natamycin is, and I just like to avoid preservatives if I can.
