Teens are probably the hardest group to buy for at Christmas time, or really any special occasion. Honestly, when it comes to teenagers, I think a gift card is appropriate. However, if you don’t want to get a gift card, I have some other ideas for you too on my Holiday Gift Giving Guide for the Teens in Your Life: Best Gifts Under $15. Fifteen dollars may not seem like much, but it can get you some really cool gifts for your teen. They might actually say thank you.

Best Gifts Under $15

1. Amazon Gift Card

Normally, I don’t encourage buying gift cards, but when it comes to teenagers, I think an Amazon gift card is appropriate. That way, they can use the money to buy what they want.

2. Polish Horseshoe Yard Game

This game looks awesome. Disclaimer here, I haven’t actually played it. I typically don’t recommend things unless I have tried them, but this game looks fun. Plus the reviews were good and it’s under $15. How can you go wrong?

3. Portable Charger

I typically discourage screen time and teens being glued to their cell phones, but I also feel like parents should be able to get a hold of their teens at all times. This portable charger makes sure that your teen’s phone will always be charged.

4. Polar Water Bottle

Each one of my kids has this water bottle. They like it because it’s light and keeps their drinks cold. I prefer them over metal bottles mainly because they aren’t noisy. My kids would clank those metal water bottles just to drive my crazy. Ha!

5. A Package of Their Favorite Candy

You can’t go wrong with giving a teen their favorite candy. I picked Twix because that’s my favorite.

6. Cell Phone Stand

This is the perfect cell phone stand. It folds up to a very compact size. It is adjustable, has thickened airbag silicone to prevent scratching your teens device and it’s got a metal weighted base, so won’t tip over.

7. Beat the Parents Game

This game is so much fun. My kids beg to play it any time we get together with family. It’s definitely competitive and you have to be up for silly challenges, but it will create lasting memories for your family. My kids still talk about the time my niece and I both had to eat a spoonful of ketchup or when the kids had to give all the adults backrubs for 30 minutes because they lost the game.

8. What Do You Meme? Family Edition

This game is hilarious. Looking at the pictures alone will make you laugh. This is fun for the whole family, but I guarantee your teen will have fun playing this game, even if they don’t want to admit it.

9. Tool Set

Every teen should have their own tool set, especially if they are heading off to college soon. My dad is a big woodworker and felt all of this kids, boys and girls alike, should know how to use tools.

10. Duo Tip Markers

These markers are great for any art project or just use them for writing. They are especially great for coloring in a teen coloring book. They are a cool gift for any teen.

While teens can be difficult to shop for, I really think they will enjoy these under $15 gifts. Great thing is that, if they don’t like them, Amazon has a great return policy. Ha! As teens these days would say, I think I slayed it with this holiday gift giving guide for the teens in your life: best gifts under $15. (Someday, if my now 11 year old daughter ever reads this, I am sure it will a forehead smack moment).
