Holiday Gift Giving Guide for the Adults in Your Life: Best Gifts Under $15

Christmas can be a stressful time for some, especially when you have no idea what to get your family and/or friends. Gift cards seem like an easy gift, but I have always felt like gift cards were generic. (Although, every year, all my Dad wants for Christmas are Menard’s gift cards. Ha! He probably goes to Menard’s 3 or 4 times a week. What else does a retired old guy have to do?) In order to help you out this Christmas, I created this holiday gift giving guide for the adults in your life: best gifts under $15. It’s not important to spend a fortune on people. Your family and friends probably just want to spend time with you. Some of the gifts on this list are fun and some are practical.

Best Gifts Under $15

1. Strawberry Huller

Some may say that this strawberry huller is unnecessary, but I think it’s necessary. I can’t prep strawberries without it anymore. It makes washing and prepping strawberries a breeze.

2. Milk Frother

This is not just for frothing milk. You can use this milk frother to mix up hot cocoa, stir honey into tea, make your own whipped cream, or beat your eggs for scrambled eggs. The possibilities are endless.

3. Custom Name Stamp

These are perfect for labeling anything for your kids, like clothes, school supplies and water bottles.

4. Back Scratcher

Once you have used these back scratchers, you will wonder why you waited so long to get one. They are the best. Seriously, your life will never be the same.

5. Chef’s Knife

You don’t need to spend a exorbitant amount on a chef’s knife. Don’t get me wrong, I am sure the expensive ones work slightly better, but they don’t work that much better. Just make sure your knife is sharp and you should be good to go. I got mine like this at Sam’s club and it works better than my more expensive ones.

6. Telescoping Magnet Pick Up Tool Set

This is the best gift for the builders, woodworkers and car enthusiasts in your life. I hate when I am working on a project and drop the screw behind something and can’t quite reach it. This tool kit is perfect for that situation.

7. Qwixx

This game is really fun. It helps your kids work on their math and critical thinking skills. I played this over Thanksgiving with my brother and he was even keeping track of the relative probability of rolling a specific number because he wanted to win. Let’s just say, my husband beat him both games.

8. Puzzle Ball

This puzzle ball is challenging and fun. Older kids would enjoy it as well as adults, especially the adults that act like kids. This occupied my brother for over an hour. It is fun, but can be very frustrating.

9. Farkle

This dice game is super fun for all ages. It’s a great game to help kids practice their math skills. My 9 year old son usually beats his Grandpa (my dad) whenever they play.

10. Portable Charger

This portable charger is fantastic to have with you, especially on vacations. I took mine on my trip to Gulf Shores. It was so nice to have a way to charge my phone on the plane. It’s so frustrating when you are watching a movie on the plane and your phone dies. With this portable charger, that won’t ever happen again.

11. Snap and Strain Strainer

This strainer is fabulous. I know, you can put a regular strainer in the sink or simply hold the lid on your pot to strain your pasta, but that usually involves some pasta falling out into the sink. This strainer prevents that, and it’s easy to use.

12. Bottle and Jar Openers

I am not even old enough to have arthritis in my hands, but I use my jar opener all the time. It helps me open jars, dressing bottles, ketchup bottles, etc.

13. Ziplock Bag Holder

This bag holder is genius. I use it all the time. If you know someone who does freezer meal planning at all, they need this bag holder.

14. Whisk Set

These are, hands down, the best whisks out there. They are the perfect gift for the baker or cook in your life. The handle is super comfortable and they don’t rust, unlike other whisks I have.

15. Drill Brush Attachment Set

These drill brushes are wonderful. They are helpful in every cleaning task there is. I usually use mine to clean my showers and tubs.

To me, one of the best parts about Christmas is giving gifts. I love to watch people open the gift that I found that I felt was perfect for them. There is something for every adult on this holiday gift giving guide for the adults in your life: best gifts under $15.
