Flavorful Chicken Gravy

I thought it was fitting to post my gravy recipe after posting my mashed potato recipe. My family would prefer to have gravy with their mashed potatoes. Most people do right? This chicken gravy is super simple and tasty. It is best made with the drippings from a whole chicken. You can just use canned chicken broth too, but it won’t be as flavorful. (This recipe can easily be changed into any type of gravy you want by using drippings from a whole turkey, beef roast or pork roast).  I know not everyone makes a whole chicken on a regular basis. You should try it though. Roasting a whole chicken is super easy, plus then you can make this yummy chicken gravy.

I feel like gravy gets a bad rap. It is not extremely healthy for you, but, if you make your own, it is much better for you than the jarred gravy you can buy at the store. Plus it tastes so much better.
