Chex Mix

This chex mix is amazing. It has a little smokey flavor and every person in my family loves it. There will always be a debate in our house whether it should include pretzels or not. The kids and I love pretzels. My husband does not like them at all. I used to just put them in there anyways, but here’s the thing, when I make chex mix, that is what I want to eat. I don’t want to just eat the pretzels my husband left in the bowl. If I wanted to eat just pretzels I could grab the bag of pretzels.

Chex mix doesn’t last long in this house. I wanted to try to make the classic version a little bit healthier, so instead of butter, I used olive oil. Honestly, it’s better than the classic version. I added a little liquid smoke to give a bit of a smokey flavor too. Yum! It is so delish.
