Description
This is a simple and delicious chicken gravy recipe. It can easily be changed into any type of gravy you want by using drippings from a whole turkey, beef roast or pork roast.

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 6 tablespoons unbleached all purpose flour
- 2.5 cups chicken drippings, can substitute chicken broth or drippings from a turkey, beef roast or pork roast.
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning, leave this out if making beef or pork gravy
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
- Add flour and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Slowly add drippings, or canned broth, while whisking constantly.
- Add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
- Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, while whisking often, until your desired consistency.
