Description
These ham steaks are easy to make and super delicious. They are kid friendly and the leftovers are great to use in your omelet in the morning.
Ingredients

- 2 ham steaks (about 1.25 to 1.5 pounds each)
- 1/3 cup maple sugar (you can substitute brown sugar)
- 1 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to broil.
- Place both ham steaks on a foil lined cookie sheet that you have sprayed with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, mix together the rest of the ingredients.
- Spread the mixture over the ham steaks, dividing evenly between the steaks.
- Broil for 8-10 minutes (The cooking time can vary since some ovens get hotter on broil than others. Just make sure you watch it closely so that the steaks don’t burn)
