Description
Stove-top popcorn is a delicious, easy and healthy snack. We make popcorn a lot in our house and the kids can’t get enough.
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions

Pour olive oil into a large pot. Add 2 popcorn kernels and cover.

Heat on medium high to high heat until both kernels pop. Remove the 2 popped kernels. Now pour in your 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels and cover.

Once the popcorn starts popping, it takes about 3 to 4 minutes for all of the it to pop. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl. Add sea salt and shake so that the salt gets evening distributed.
Notes
Make sure to add the salt after the popcorn is popped. If you add it with the olive oil before the popcorn is popped, you popcorn will be tough.
